Its amazing what customs agents find in luggage nowadays.

The latest bizarre airport seizure occurred at London Gatwick Airport, where authorities discovered 207 pounds (94 kilograms) of dead caterpillars in one traveller’s luggage!

I repeat – 207 pounds!

The 22-year-old man, travelling from Burkina Faso, claimed the caterpillars were intended as food for personal consumption.

Authorities seized shrink-wrapped bags containing thousands of dried caterpillars, because the insects breach controls on the importation of “products of animal origin”.

The man left the airport with a warning and a lighter suitcase.
